Couldn’t agree more mate, the Droid is arguably THE phone for me right now, just a shame that there are no immediate plans to bring it to the UK market. That said, it is available SIM free but at £450, an extravagance. Guess I’ll be sticking to the G1 for now too, maybe changing for a Hero when I find one at the right price. The plastic may not be as shiny but they do the same job ;- )

The Dwang ROM worked well, but for me there is something about Cyanogens ROMs, they just seem to be everything that an original ROM should have been; stable, fast and bundled with the right apps.

If you do decide to go for a Dwang ROM, let me know how you get on!
